Hotpress have news about the Hi-Fi Festival, the only thing I can suppose is that The Prodigy are playing (I'm not a member). Haven't a clue about dates, prices, etc. unless Hotpress knows, but it looks like there'll be an official announcment soon.

Is this MCD's answer to Electric Picnic?

Its not been announced officially but it is understood that The Prodigy, The Streets and Faithless all will be headliners at the August 5th and 6th Indue-Dance Boutique Festival Called HI-FI which is a new festival on our calender this year

Said to be MCD's Rival Festival to Electric Picnic The Festival will be held in belvedere House and tickets are rumoured to be in the latter half of 100-200 euro

Edit: This was already in a thread but named the Global Gathering then. As both brand names are owned by a company mcd recently purchased I guess they havent officially settled on one. This is due in Mullingar. Be funny if they stick an oxegen style price (160eur) on this as the article suggests for 2 days if they are going head to head with EP (3 days, 180eur).
