I have a dictaphone recording with alot of background noise. Any ideas on the best software to enhance the recording?

    Thanks in advance

Audacity works great, if you can get a sample of the background noise with no speech in it it can remove it.

I use Adobe Audition. It does everything if you take the time to learn it.
