Is there any such program that will analyse all the processes running on my computer at a given time then tell me about each process and whether it is needed or is malicious? Because lately my computer is running kinda slow and and there are a lot of processes running. I really dont want to have to google every one that I have a question mark over.

    Thanks..

http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/ProcessExplorer.html will tell you the most info on each process and what handles/threads/file locks it has.

Process Explorer will tell you lots about the app and can kill it but won't tell you if the app is dodgy or not.

Are you already running sbybot or antispyware software as they should nuke the junk they recognise.
