Eastpoint Warning

Leaving Eastpoint Business park on Friday I noticed a guy walking into the business park from the main road wearing a helmet. First thing I though is why on earth is someone walking around wearing a helmet with no bike / scooter in sight. When I got closer to him I noticed he looked a bit young and his helmet was a bad fit and he had a small flash light in his hand.

Does this stike anyone as a bit odd ? Bearing in mind I had the alarm set off on my bike 3 times in the one week and one of my colleges got the kick starter on her scooter damaged when someone tried to start it.

If you're working in the area make sure your bike is well locked and keep an eye on it.

I've seen them on Scrabblers around the football pitches there quite often. Mostly younger Teenagers who used to use the waste ground but now tear up the pitches since the tunnel has forced them to move. However I've also seen people hiding scooters in the bushes along the Alfie Byrne road. If you see something strange give Clontarf Garda station a quick shout and they normally send someone out to investigate. As always lock you bike preferably to something solid.

Would it be possible to get a sticky with stolen bikes (like bikes to look out for etc) and bad places to park. Might be good as a future reference.
