CHANNEL 6, the new Irish television station that will launch at the end of this month, is set to bump Sky One out of its slot on the analogue platforms of both NTL and Chorus, the cable TV operators owned by Liberty Media, writes Ciaran Hancock.

Sky One, which offers opt-out advertising to Irish companies, is to be moved on the spectrum to the slot currently occupied by CNBC Europe
