George Lucas is a muppet to have left out the scene
with Yoda going to Degobah !! It was fantastic!!

He said on the DVD that "there was no point, we know where he ends up" !!
What ****e is that ? , Like saying "no point in showing Anakin and how he ends up as Vader, We know how he ends up ! " such ****e!!

But it was a great scene , I got such a sense of nostalgia seeing Degobah again

Well considering the film is actually about Anakin (not Yoda) then it's not really like saying....
"no point in showing Anakin and how he ends up as Vader, We know how he ends up ! " such ****e!!

Still havent seen those scenes. What was Grevious and Shaak-ti like?

Grevious Shaak-Ti was ok, all the scenes in my opinion were not essential to
show EXCEPT yoda going to Degobah, it had a really nice touch to it,
and I like the references to the original trilogy in the prequels.

It showed the begining of the rebellion with mon mothma and bail organna. The opening sequence(palpatine rescure) was originally 55+ mins. Lucas will release a dvd with all the scenes, against corporations my ass. i'll still buy it.

I'd have to agree with jcf, the Daygobah seen was pretty much the only pivotle secene out of them all. There was some interesting stuff in the others, like the Padme, Organa and co meeting, but I dont think they would've made a massive impact had they been left in. The Degobah scen was great though, very simple but effective. I can see why Lucas left it out, but still, it is only like a minute or so in fairness.

i didnt mind the scenes being left out of the cinematic release but he could have patched them in on the dvd release instead of having us go through all those menus. also the scenes themselves arent completly finished(with flashes of blue screens here and there)

Another thing that anoyed me about the scenes is that in the book(shortly released before the film) shaa ti was killed by anakin.

I thin the Dagobagh scene should have been in the cinematic release.
