what firewall are you using?
you should be able to go into your firewall and deselect msn from a list of prevented applications or you could move your mouse over each one of the icons down by your clock and disable the one that is your firewall by right clicking on it.

Thou thats only a short term solution, you need to go into your firewall and take it off the list for future ease of use really

You probably blocked it by accident and now it wont connect. Theres probably an application control in your firewall options. If you post the name of your firewall, someone will be able to help
