started this year on a 1.0 fiesta
3 months later changed to nissan almera
3 months later tranfered to e30 1990 320i which i love. just finished out 1 year no claims touch wood.
would like to buy the 325i sport as a restoration project so maybe no need to insure for a year or two but the guy only has a v615 form for the car.

Aparently you need to be 30 also to get classic insurance.

My friend found this out the hard way.

Get your parents or someone older to insure it and put yourself as a named driver.

No, not true. It depends on the car, your situation, second car, no claims etc.

Don't mess with the insurance companies on stuff like this, they will be very happy not to pay anything if they suspect something, plus from what I remember: the insurance companies will charge you for the driver with the most risk factor on a classic.
