i know theres prob lots of threads already bout this, but i need a prog that converts avi's to the dvd format! and ideas?? thanks

VSO Divx2dvd is very good, I've used this quite a bit.

If you have a copy of Nero you can use their Nero vision app to do it but the best I've found is VSO Software's ConvertXToDVD [formally DivXToDVD], quality was better of converted files and I could fit more on each disc compared to Nero's.
