Need permission to subscribe?

    OK I'm having problems understanding how this works:

    I click on the friendly guy with his thumb up on the main page which brings me to here: http://www.boards.ie/subscribers.php

    Down the bottom of that page it reads:

    To become a subscriber, you must use the PayPal subscriptions system.

    When I click on the link under the subscriptions, it says:

    jerryadams, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

    Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
    If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

    ...leading me to believe that I need permission to subscribe?

    Any help would be appreciated on this.
