well the whole voting process wasnt exactly a secret ballot tbh. While i was voting myself i could see and hear what others were voting and while walking down the stairs at BC you could easily see what peeps were voting looking down at the window.

And the whole not having pens thing was fairly ****!

Did I hear properly that earlier this week Enda Duffy was fined (€80, I think) for ordering his minnions (not Seb though?) to rip down some of Dan Hayden's posters? Surely for that he shouldn't be allowed to win? Although I think Hayden will win it anyway.

I didn't vote. I know I've made a difference.

Why? Michelle's issues all focused on women whereas the guys were more general eg. mental health. Thus the candidate with the wider scope was chosen

I wasn't approached by any candidate or a member of their team. They seemed to ignore Quinn School and the Eng Block.

Did anyone else feel like walking up to Duffy's canvassers yesterday outside the polling station and telling them to shut the fúck up!? Or was that just me?

Do they not realise how counter-productive that is? Paul Dillon screaming like a stall holder on Mary's street made me cringe. Crap like that just annoys people rather than make them vote for the candidate.

Fair enough people have to canvass on election day but they shouldn't be allowed right in front of the polling station.

I can't believe it really. I managed to get down their and make a vote even though I'm not a registered student in UCD and never have been. No wonder that Dan lad won by such a large margin. If i'm able to get a vote with a society card then I wonder how many votes are actually real.

Voted only for Deputy Prez as if I should have even bothered

So you're not a registered student in UCD but you felt the need to come in and vote for Deputy President and then imply the the only reason Dan won by so many votes was because others were doing the same?? Riiiiiigght!

uhhh actually if this really worked then enda duffy would have won.Every second canvasser I bumped into of his wasnt a UCD student.I bumped into five people I know fron Lbouryouth who arent in Ucd.Then the likes of paul d,Finbar and god knows who else was back to canvass for him.I really think this shoudnt be allowed.Dan only had UCD students on his campaign team which is the way it should be.
