Find out what program she's using and block the ports on your router. Best to google it, these types of threads can get to the dodgy side of things sometimes.

just cap the upload and downloads on the torrents to an acceptable speed in the torrent program as some alternate the ports

Shes probable uploading at MAX...which will kill the download!

Get your hands on her comp and decrease her upload to 6KB/s or something similar!

Ask her to try to limit using torrents when someone else is connected and also download her stuff at night.

    Could save a row!

why not ask her nicely to decrease her downloading/uploading rate?

QOS her ip from the router, assuming you have given her a static ip.

    punch her in the face

or as someone here did a while ago; send her a printed letter pretending to be the IRMA threatening legal action.

Fill up her hard drive with junk files so she only has a few MB left.

Change the speed on her wireless card to 1Mb - won't really help but might give the impression of slowness.

or get her to use a timed client to download at night..

If you're bing covert about it, throw on peerguardian and get it to run in the backgound and disable P2P with it.

Either get Netlimiter installed on her comp and set it up to cap bandwidth during the day.
Close the ports on your router (they have to be open in the first place so you'll be able to see what ones she's using).
Ask her to download during the night.
