PSP USB Question

    I have a generic usb from an archos av400 whichs fits the psp but wont show up on the computer . Do I need software / drivers for it to show up or do I actually have to buy the psp usb/charger device for the psp two show up on the computer . Many thanks

    not sure if the psp shows up automatically like other devices.

    have you activated the usb mode on the psp? that might be the issue.

    once its a usb to mini-usb cable, it should work.

    Its probably just that the psp is not in "USB Mode", just go to settings then, "USB Mode", it should work then.

    I have the CDs for it if it doesn't work. But I am sure you will be able to do it that way. If ot give me a shout and I will see what I can do.

    Also make sure you've hit the "Format Memory Stick" option; it'll set up the PSP file structure for you.
