Theres no Luas and the DART station is about a 20 min walk(ive never done it but about that).
There are plenty of busses which are normally pretty quick but seeing as its rush hour i'd doubt u'd make it in the time alloted.
A taxi during rush hour through the middle of town might be nasty too till you got outta the centre itself.
You dont happen to have a fold away bike you could take along by anychance? :v:

Right with half an hour to get to UCD id say its a best bet to get a taxi cause the bus will take about that. Theater P is in the John Henry Newman Building or the Arts Block. If you google "UCD MAP BELFIELD" you should get a downloadable map with a good sense of direction. If you come in the taxi ask to go through the stillorgan end and then get out at the bus terminus. The Arts block is about a 5 minute straight walk along the main route.

The Theaters are marked with their Letters above the doors. From the services desk go straight then left then straight some more and theater P is right infront of you

If it's not too late to help, when you get off at Busaras, leave at the main entrance, cross the street / Luas tracks, go to the right and onto Talbot Street (you should be able to see the Spire the whole way down). Move towards the Spire and when you get to O'Connell St turn left. The number 10 bus stop is opposite the GPO, nearish/beside Ann Summers - the 10 goes directly to the bus terminus that Grimes is on about, it's regular-ish for most of the week and costs €1.55 each way.

If the 10 doesn't seem to be showing then get the 46A from the bus stop just beside it - for the same fee it'll drop you at the main front gate of UCD instead of the bus terminus inside!

[edit: having just seen that you've only got the half-hour, this makes my post kinda redundant!]

Busaras? Just walk to O'Connell Street and get the 46A! There's very little traffic at that hour of Saturday morning, so it'll only be about 15-20 minutes to UCD.
