IE not accessing Hotmail...

    Any suggestions

    I've tried this article, and it was not worth the effort

    seems to be something blocking it, uninstalled sygate, and windows firewall is disabled.

    WinXP, SP2, all patches installed.

    Is it just webmail sites?
    Are you behind a corporate firewal/proxy...?

    No that and other webmail type websites.
    Not behind any firewalls

    You could try accessing it via an IP address.
    Go to dos and type
    "ping www.hotmail.com"
    This will show its IP.
    Then just type that into IE address bar.

    My search wasn't working either so came up with this from google
    something was corrupt, and this worked a treat,
    from DOS
    regsvr32 wshom.ocx
    regsvr32 jscript.dll
    regsvr32 urlmon.dll

    thanks anyway guys
