I heard a rumour that the Yeah Yeah Yeah's were playing this. I did some market research for Budweiser last month and they said so. Dunno if is true, it'd tie in with the release of the third album alright.

    YAY!!! RAZORLIGHT! It'll be superfantastich:D ! I was hoping they'd do Oxegen tho:rolleyes: !

How are they the headliner? If it's like last year, there'll be loads of gigs on different nights... hell, different months!

Thing that's worrying me though: April? Last year's was in June and August and it worked out perfectly for (greedy) me with the long Bank Holiday weekend in June and all. April seems a bit premature to me for a music festival!

As far as I know this isn't budrising proper as we know it of the June bank holiday fame! This is called "BudRising Spring" (see hotpress link). so far this year theres been a Budrising West and a Budrising South, we also had the Budrising gigs last August in Lansdowne. so they are mixing it up, the June bank holiday lineups have been strong the last 2 years and hopefully that continues.

I hear Radiohead mentioned for Marley Park - is this the BudRising gig or something else?

If Radiohead play Marley Park I presume Beck will support, he's playing V festival with them and according to this article from Rolling Stone on a beck site ....

    http://www.beckbeckbeck.net/

.... Beck is playing gigs with Radiohead for the summer, so Irelands gotta be in there somewhere.

Im pretty sure we wont hear about a Radiohead gig until Oxegen has sold a fair portion of its tickets. Im thinking they'll probably show at the global gathering mcd are brewing up to take on the electric picnic.

edit... well so much for that idea.

Well, looks like theres gonna be a Bud Rising Spring alright:

    Ticketmaster

There seems to be a few others confirmed for Crawdaddy - The Long Blondes and The Automatic

Actually, there are a load more added to Ticketmaster. Just do a search for "Bud Rising". We Are Scientists, Razorlight (as suspected) and Isobel Campbell all added!!

Apparently Beck is supporting Radiohead for the American leg of the tour only..

Well they're both playing the V Festival at the same time, so its still possible.

Well they've updated the BudRising site. And they have a timetable of all the acts playing the BudRising Spring festival.

Hope the Bud Rising week in June/July (like the previous two years) still goes ahead. They booked bands like crazy and the majority of them were alot more interesting.

I agree, I reckon they'll still run with the June/July/August series of gigs.

Why'd they put Razorlight and We Are Scientists on the same nite:confused: ? A lotta people are more than likely to be fans of both bands:rolleyes: ! Argh, which one's worth going to more? The price isn't too bad, Razorlight E30 and We Are Scientists E15:D !
