Does anybody know how bi a dish i need to receive 4 different sattelites, astra 2 at 28.5, astra 1 at 19.2 hotbird at 13 and thor 2 at .8 w?
is it possible to recieve such a broad spectrum without a motor, as i want it to go to 2 receivers?

    Thanks in advance

    Michael

The 1W signals are weak, very little on my 80cm dish.
28E, 19E, 13E and 5E on one 80cm dish pointing at 13E will work. Even a 70cm (minimum) pointed at 19E will work for 28E and 13E also.

Try a 1W dish pointed at 5E with offset bracket with 13E, 19E and 28E on it. The 28E signal would be poor, but then a 1.1m dish is huge (> 4 times Sky dish gain), so it is likely to work.

On multi LNB systems either line up middle LNB on Arm or if one satellite is much weaker make it the LNB directly on the Arm.

A 4 Way Diseqc switch and a Quad LNB for 28E is recommended. A Sky Digibox Quad will work in this setup for Sky. (That's what I have on a 13E, 19E, 28E x80cm dish and get over 90% quality)

Which one gorm, and how would you rate it?

What satellites do you receive with it?

I've never seen one in the flesh, let alone install one.

    1. I have a T90. Have had no problems with it in the 18 months I've had it.
    2. Have changed my setup over time. Started with one similar to NOPZ requirements but currently have 28E, 19E, 16E and 13E (T90 is overkill for current setup I know). Will change again in the spring when the weather gets better and purchase more lnbs.
    3. I didn't find it difficult to setup. My previous dish was a simple Triax 64cm.
    4. Signal from all lnbs fine. Switching between channels on different lnbs is instant. In fact, in my favorites list in my STB, the channels are grouped by preference not by satellite.
    5. It suits my setup as I can run multiple STBs and receive channels from different satellites.

I also use a toroidal dish, I use the T55
    to receive 13e 19e 28e and 33e
it wasnt too difficult to install but it is fiddly
I run a ftv skybox, a fta reciever with diseq switch and a pc with diseq switch off of it

If you were to go the torodial dish root then you would require the T90 in order to recive anything on 1W (thats not to say it is laarge enough to receive what you want!)
