    Hi,
I hope somebody can help me Eircom certainly dont.

I have Eircom wireless broadband with netopia modem and usb key.
Modem is downstairs in house and moved pc upstairs. It worked excellently for days, but now every time i shut down or put computer on standby the wireless connection breaks and needs to be repaired to access internet. When repaired signal strenght is excellent, but as soon as computer is off i have to go through the same procedure everytime i turn it on.

    Anyone any ideas?
    Thanks

What OS are you using? If it's XP - Let Windows Configure this device (ie. use WZC and ensure any other client software is disabled)
I presume you're using encryption - what strength & type?

    Uninstall and re-install,tbh.

Have to go with Karoma's suggestion here and let XP configure the device, seems to be smoother that way IMHO.:)
