well folks I have a question? I have a phpbb installation e.g. test.com which isnt up and running yet, so the domain is pointing at the test site. Of course when I try to go to the admin panel I am redirected to test.com/admin..... Is there any way i can fix the db or config files to make it redirect to the ip of the…

Of course when I try to go to the admin panel I am redirected to test.com/admin..... Is there any way i can fix the db or config files to make it redirect to the ip of the machine? (and i dont want to redirect the domain to live yet).

right, its ok I figured it out, you need to update the server_name variable in the database table phpbb_config.
