    Party 5/10 6-max

    Hero 2k has the SB
    Minraiser has 1k in ep
3-bettor has 1k on the CO or something.

    Preflop
3 limpers, hero completes with 55, bb checks

    Flop (50)
    5s 6c 7c
Hero bets 30, minraiser minraises to 60, 3-bettor makes it 200 .... hero?

    I would fold here,
I think call is definately out of the question as what do you do if another flush card comes on the turn or another straight completing card?

i fold here as i dont think you have many outs at all.
i think any 6 or 7 will give some one else a higher boat than urs.also with the flush draw and str draw and two ppl betting at it even if your ahead at this stage i cant see you being fav in the hand.

What sort of hands have they been limping with in the past??

Is this type of betting standard for these guys??

Is it a case that the 3-Bettor puts the min-raiser on a weak bluff steal and is attempting to squeeze you out of it?? Any history as to what this min-raise might mean by this guy. IMO this is the crucial piece of info needed in this hand.

Raise or fold situation, i would fold(unless I knew the players/had a good read). Any four, eight, six, seven or club falls on the turn and you cant be happy with your hand and are probably gonna fold anyway. minraiser probably has some kind of draw(possibly even 89clubs) while the 3 bettor could easily have 66 or 77 and be overbetting the pot to knock draws out.

What happened to your strategy (as put in a recent post) of raising with any pocket pair in an unopened pot?

Back on topic, this is a tough call but i'd lean towards a fold, as any higher set or a made straight and you're crippled. You're also sandwiched between a raiser and a reraiser. Fold.

Didn't read that post, but maybe he meant when it was folded around to him??

This pot has been opened. There are 3 limpers already.

Also note that my strategy was - limp behind limpers with good implied odds hands (like pocket pairs).

Ah i assumed you meant opened as in raised rather than opened as limped into.

    :).
I further went on to explain what I meant by opening a pot. Get down off your high horse my good man.

Opening a pot = being first in. When I'm first in, I like to come in for a raise.

No high horse was just curious as to whether it was a change of strategy or if I had misunderstood your post, as I find your advice on ring game strategy to be very beneficial!

Ok - please note that I usually play 6-max games.

I open limp in full ring games a fair bit.

Results: I folded, and to my surprise, minraiser also folded.

I was planning to 3-bet the minraiser, but the 3rd guy most likely had the nuts (or a bigger set than me), so I passed.

nasty board to be involved in on that hand. Tough to let go. Can't see you winning this pot and it's only going to hurt to follow this to conclusion especially with raiser re-raisers in the pot who have to have better odds and outs than you have. I'm folding!

Without reads, on a 5 man limped pot like this, this is a fairly standard lay down TBH...
