BF2 Single Player Maps?!

    Hey all,

    I'm getting a kick out of the single player of BF2, I understrand that the default sp is 16 players per map...

    I've tried a few bot progs / mods, but can't get the 32 + 64 maps playable!

    I'm patched to latest version (some of this apps seems to be redundant after EA patching)

    Anyone know how I can get the bigger maps to work..?! or alternativley new maps I can add...

    You need to host a local server in the multiplayer section for the bigger maps. You'd need a thrid party bot that was designed to work in multiplayer for that to work though.

    But seriously, why bother?

    actually yeah a few of my mates were watchin us play last night and thought they'd love a game of battlefield, how do i host a game locally so that they can play

    can i just play 16 player maps when hosting a game

    I'm a big online gamer but I've found a plethora of total tossers on many of the servers I've played... I haven't tried any Irish ones though. Is there any?

    I like the single player BF2 / Special forces for quick-fix play... But would love to have access to the bigger maps... Do you know where I'd get any of the bots you refered to? Or instructions how to do it...

    How about stick to 16 player maps but use 64 bots? :D ...that's what I use for quick bouts when I know I'm not gonna have enough time to enjoy a full online session.

    Strike on Karkand on 'veteran' gets kinda interesting, even in SP, with that config! ;)

    Why not find some decent servers?

    The irish ones are good when they are populated.

    Try GFF, its well admin'ed and has some good guys on it...

    Not a prog, just a re-written *.AI script that you drop in one the prog folders and replace the existing one. Google it, 'tis well-known and easy to setup (and it doesn't corrupt the proggy when using 'proper' multiplayer/online functionality, you don't need a NoCD or crap like that).

    linkie to the 32-bot mod. Do read the FAQ/nfo (i.e. back up the original *.AI file somewhere). You can actually open that modded *.AI file with Notepad and fiddle with the bot number (warning: 64 bots and more needs a sh1t-hot, rock-steady system).
