I signed up for a $2 Holdem MTT on PPP yesterday but forgot about it.

I remembered today and checked the MTT and i placed 24th without playing a single hand.

It must have been one hell of an all-in fest. This ever happen to anyone else?

i was experimenting with the idea of not playing a hand at all in a 9 seat STT.
i had some very interesting results(very short sample).unfortunately i didn’t have the BR to continue with my experiment but over about 50 samples i showed a profit :D .now i deliberately choose the buy-in that i thought ppl would not understand poker concepts and related STT strategy that well but not playing a hand and showing a profit was very interesting more me.

If he came 24th and there were 400 runners he would have made the money.
I was at a game in the macau one night when a player did not show up for a torunament and half the field was out before he was. If it was $2 it was speed or turbo which is a very different animal with regard to style of play. Freeroll style of play would be similar

    This is 100% true

once at a final table on PPP with 8 players left I fell asleep drunk with a v large stack (either 2nd or 1st in table cant rememebr)

I finished second for 800ish EUR.

What I can figure out is how the first and 3rd placed guys didnt notice and just alternate taking my blinds

As i was away from table it wouldnt have shown disconnected..

Maybe they though I was playing a tad tight...lol

I hate getting to the final table on a MTT on paddy power, then seeing 2 disconnecteds there.... with more money than you!

I love when i have no money on my account, sign up to loads a freerolls, forget about them, come back and find like $5 :D

If I remember correctly Big Dragon had to leave one of Mikes games early one night and made it to the final table,I think he won an all in on the final table to keep him going.

*pine* ah the AUL, great spot for tourneys.

Played 3, won 2, 3rd in the other

If I remember rightly, that stack had a driver the following week on the final table and it didn't last half as long !
