Would you let your percieved quality of the dealer
    affect your bet?
Playing a home game last night, I *knew* certain cards would come up
because the shiffle the dealer was doing was crap
and al lthe cards were still grouped...
    sounds weird but it worked

In self deal situations, where the dealer is a poor shuffler I quite regularly try to limp in with suited cards if the previous board cards had 2/3 cards of that suit. I would also try sneak in with Q3os for example if the previous commuinity cards had 2 threes in the make up.

any action however and I am done with the cards.

thats true i generally try to watch that a dealer riffles the cards at least 3 times, it think thats the minimum amount allowed in the fitz.

I have noticed this in short handed home games and used it to advantage. It's probably cheating though, but it's really the dealers fault for not taking the advantage away. Doesn't work when the table gets bigger though.
