    can anyone tell me if there is a program or something that will collect passwords or text that is put into my computer if someone else is using it? thanks.

    You could get yourself a keylogger.. it puts every single key typed into a text file or something along those lines... handy for 2 things... finding peoples passwords.. or the good use is when your typing on boards or something and you hit a wrong key or your cookie times out and you look your post.. you can just cut and paste it back in :D
    Used to use one in work..
    Only problem is most anti-virus software will pick them up as a virus.
    Search on google for keyloggers as most are illegal and im not posting dodgy links

    Yes there is. Google "Keylogger"

    edit: After questioning, here's some clarification on why I locked this:

    Keylogging software is potentially illegal. There is a constitutional right to privacy in Ireland and keylogging could breach that.

    Even if it isn't illegal, at the very least it's morally questionable to let someone use a computer that's having everything logged without letting them know.

    There is plenty of net-nanny software available that filters inappropriate material from children (this is what Tabatha wants the keylogging software for).
