Im just looking at the cad for the 2.00 at Sandown. I think it has to go to Manners (NAP). Obvioulsy the big risk here is Idris, but I don't have much confidence in Hide to be honest. With 26 Wins out of 102 runs at Sandown, McCoy is far ahead of the competiton here, Likewise, Jonjo O Neill (along with Henderson) is top trainer out of this lot, coupled with the fact that the horse has been doing well training. Fair enough the price is not great, it is currently just over even money (2.2) on betfair, and even money with most bookies. The only worry is the ground, (he has not ran on anything softer that good to soft) and the last time I checked, the ground was heavy but I still have confidence in him, so Manners is my nap for today :)

Just to update, the ground is soft, heavy in places but I think he should be fine.

I've heard a few other recommendations for him aswell, odds seem to be tightening though.

Yep, he is gone down to 2.14 on betfair (I got him at 2.3)

He is 10/11 in most bookmakers, but 11/10 with stan james at the mo

I think the ground may suit Idris more. Manners has only ever won on Good ground, coming 4th and 5th on his previous 2 runs on Good-Soft ground. I thinking about laying him at the moment, but I might just stick well away from it alltogether.:D

My tip for Today is Blue Patrick 1.50 Wolverhampton. The last 3 times in wolverhampton he has came 1st, 3rd and 1st. Just checked Paddypowers and he has just gone from 13/8 to 11/8.

Yeah, id agree that Blue patrick looks like the one for this. Also, Callan along with Dwyer has the best record at wolves out of the 13 jockies. Although winning line has been looking good so I'd be vary wary about ruling him out

An absolute dreadful run by Blue Patrick, when linning wine was a non-runner I thought Blue Patrick was a "dead cert" but as we all find in the Horse racing there is unfortunatly no such thing.

Hard luck MBC. thats the way it goes sometimes.

My NAP Manners gave me no worries thankfully, but I was lucky enough to get him at 2.3 on betfair (13/10). He came in at 8/11 in the end, so I got good value out of it.

    Manners did the job.
