USB keys > Flash Drive or Storage Media are they the same thing???

    A mate in work says that the USB 2.0 Media Storage key is not the same as the 2.0 Flash Drive Key.

    I said they are the same thing he says there not………Can anyone settle this argument. ta..

    they are the same. flash is the type of memory used in them.

    to get technical, its a type of nvram or non-volatile random access memory

    Most definatly the same thing. As already posted flash is the type of memory used in them.
