Macromedia Flash Loader or Html

Just designing a nice personal site at the minute , with some macromedia flash intergrated . My question is there a code / loader or a piece of code that can check if a visitor to my site has the required macromedia player installed and if so forwards to the flash part of the site automatically alternatively if the visitor doesn’t have it it redirects to the html version.

Just wanted to know as its more slick then having a welcome page etc with the options available to the visitor who might not know what flash really is and therefore a lot of time spend on doing a proper flash intro is wasted.

    Any help gratefully received
