    Chelsea end ?

Mourinho is such a good manager, but only when he is on a winning streak,
and he has been on a winning streak untill now (Boro) The 1st real bad slump Chelsea have hit since he took over, we will see how good he is as a manager now in the return leg, me I think Chelsea don´t have a prayer.

Chelsea don´t have that same fight in them that Liverpool have.

Also it´s pretty depressing when the best team in England is completely
out-classed on their home turf, I know Liverpool won it last year but is English football just not good enough to win in Europe ?

Chelsea Were outclassed in parts last night.. I am a Liverpool Supporter so dont see this as a biased pre-Chelsea Post. When you look at the game. Barcelona only ran over the top of chelsea in the last 30 minutes. So its hard to say they were totally outclassed.

They were missing Key players aswell in Gallas and Essien. But there is a flip side to the arguement. The money that Has been spent by the two managers and the style of football that the team plays. You would think that Barcelona had the Blank Cheque Book and A russian Billionaire Owner. So for fans of other teams it gives hope that the right players - not necessarily the most expensive - coupled with an astute manager and great team spirit go a long way and can win things..

And I think you answered your last question in the 10 words before it. English teams can win the Champions League. Liverpool showed it last year and I have a little feeling another English team will go close this year aswell.

yeah, i think its the end of Jose, they should bring in Peter Reid asap before they begin to slide down alongside Sunderland. It may already be too late !

A poor Arsenal Side beat a Poor Real Madrid side.. So that indicates English football can win in Europe.. And to be honest Mate. Real Madrid's team was far far from Poor..

    FLUKE??? Juventus, Chelsea, Ac Milan...

Its amazing how they fluked beating those teams. Who would have guessed three flukes in a row?? It really amazes me how Flukish one team can be. What are the chances of three seperate flukes happening?? Flukes.. Utter Flukes..
And as for the game against Leverkusen. Dont get me started on that particular fluke.

Sigh. you can't fluke your way past 3 top class teams over 5 games. theres a point where a fluke just isn't a fluke anymore.

And i've no doubt chelsea will be fine. They'll still go on to gallop to the title and be a major world force even if they do go out in 2 weeks (to one of the top 3 teams worldwide). Dont think its much of a blip really as far as blips go. Sure Barca have lost twice in recent weeks in the league (both without Ronnie, but every team has to play without their best players sooner or later). Cant see them getting through but i dont expect a Barca walkover in the Nou Camp either, it'll be a very tough game.

I am a Liverpool supporter and I think you dont know what youre talking about. The end of Mourinho ? please...

They are top of the premiership and untouchable, have been for a long time. Just because they were beaten by the best club in the world at the moment, 2-1 while they had 10 men doesnt say much...

Barcelona did out play them for periods of the game but I think they would outplay pretty much any other team in Europe at the moment. The knee jerk reactions on this board are getting annoying.

The end of man u! The end of Arsenal! The end of Chelsea! The end of the world!

yeah sack murinho and replace him with ?

as much as i hate the man, i can't deny he's a fantastic manager with a brave and bold personality. you cant win every single match you play!
