So the fixtures for the second week in this years Premier League in Sunderland are:

    Ronnie Baxter v Roland Scholten
Wayne Mardle v Raymond van Barneveld
    Colin Lloyd v Peter Manley
    Roland Scholten v Phil Taylor

Live on Sky Sports One from 7.30pm

Should be another good night of darts and im really looking forward to the Mardle Barney game. Mardle on his night can beat anyone and for me he was unlucky against Taylor last week. After losing his first match its important for him to win this but against a hugely confident Barney its going to be very tough. I think Baxter needs to win tonight after losing his first match because he doesnt want to slip too far behind. Same goes for Manley although it will be tough against Lloyd who will feel he has something prove after his thumping by Taylor. Taylors only match is against Scholten who he was lucky to beat in last years quarter finals.

So a great night of Darts in store for us tonight :D

I thought Baxter would beat Scholten - and was very confident when he went 2-0 up. But then he got double trouble and Scholten was too consistent for him.

Mardle was good but Barney was superb. 5 ton plus finishes and a 100 average.

Manley threw it away against Lloyd. Had bet on a draw, and it should have been at least that for Manley. Lloyd left his best till last, winning the final leg on a 10 darter.

Roland scored better against Taylor than he had against Baxter, but missed doubles at crucial times to let Taylor off the hook. After 9 legs it could have been 6-3 to Scholten instead of 5-4 to Taylor.

Baxter seems to be having trouble settling into this tournament and I fancied him to beat Scholten. You gotta give credit to the dutchman though because he rasied his game when he had to and won the match. Baxter is in trouble now as he is playing twice next week but against Lloyd and Taylor. He really needs to pick up points from those games.

Mardle Barney was another great match but Barney again was just too strong. Mardle didnt play badly but when you opponent is checking out ton plus finishes for fun there is not alot you can do. Barney looks in top form at the moment. Mardle needs to win his match next week to get some points on the board.

Manley blew it against Lloyd. He had a huge chance to win the match but issed doubles that allowed Lloyd back in and then blew his throw on the last leg to get a point. Lloyd was clearly in pain and it was a huge chance for Manley but you have to give credit to Lloyd for diggin in and getting the result.

Scholten blew it against Taylor. At one point Taylor was averaging below 90 which is unheard of for him but Scholten just couldnt hit a double. Scholten threw 6 180's in the match to Taylors 2 but he just couldnt finish. I think the big leg was the leg before the break where Scholten had 5 darts to go 4-2 up but missed them and allowed Taylor to level it 3-3. even after that Scholten had chances to go clear ahead but missed the. Taylor just seems destined to win this competition again.

Great night of darts and im already looking forward to next week.

Barney was simply class. 5 ton+ finishes to win the first five legs. Just great darts and im looking forward to his clash with the Power at this stage.
