I was working with a company for the past few month, may to mid september full time and then till mid january on weekends. At this point I went to the owner there and explained that I need extra time for college and told her I may need to leave. She gave me the option of freezing my contract,as she put it, so I could maintain my pay rate etc. In the past week or two, however, the operations manager has returned from maternity leave and I've recieved my p45 in the post with no notice...

I was wondering where I stand with this as I do feel a bit hard done by...

Thanks for any help guys and gals!!!

Have you actually discussed the matter with your boss / operations manager? the operations manager could just have misunderstood ...

She isn't the nicest person to deal with TBH and I'd like to have some idea where I stand before I call

As far as I know you don't stand anywhere. You need to be working for a year or something before you get rights.

If it's over 13 weeks there's a min notice period of 1 week

check out your rights as a part time worker on the oasis web site.
should shed some light on it for you.

although, i suspect as someone that does absolutely minimum hours, youre probably not going to get much joy
