Does anyone know the call rate to irish mobiles using this ****** number. there website is vague - just says national rate and no proper way to contact them.:( There has been some discussion on the boards about this service but nobody as far as I know has actually posted up the actual call costs . Thanks in advance.

There's also an email address under the "contact us page". 8, 4 & 1c to mobiles, (peak, off peak & weekends). Anyone know of anywhere cheaper?

no it's not covered by talktime - talktime is only for geographic numbers not non-geographic such as 0818.

AFAIK, the Eircom rates for 0818 numbers are:
National rate(0818):
6pm-8am: 4.92 ct/min
8am-6pm: 8.17 ct/min
(I couldn't find the actual rates on the Eircom site - got these from other websites - can anyone using the service confirm these?)
If these are correct, it still looks like a good deal for ringing mobiles!

Correct and at weekend the 4.92 cent rate applies also.
the rates are quoted on the website.
