    What textbooks are used in 1st/2nd year med in this country?

    What subjects were you looking for exactly? These were the main ones I used

    Anatomy - Moore
    Physiology - Berne & Levy, Costanzo
    Biochemistry - Lippincott's, Stryer (sp?)
    Pathology - Robbins, Underwood
    Pharm - Rang & Dale
    Micro - Forget the author's name but it was called "Clinical Microbiology made ridiculouly easy"

    Do you not use Clinical medicine by Kumar and Clarke?

    I just wanted a general overview of all the books you use, cheers for your list!

    Yea that's a great book, but wouldn't be a 1st/2nd year book. Medicine (as in the subject) would generally start in your 3rd/4th year.
