Have ya ever just had a bad night!!

Had the worst night of BF2 last night since i started playing! Now i am crap at the game anyway but last night i was just awful, every single map i was getting destroyed. I had some serious fits of rage where i'd kick my computer tower and punch my CRT :mad: :mad:

So does every one have a bad night every now and then or should i just walk away now before i get the urge to burn my PC in a rage balckout

To improve my skills you could also post hints here, like the things you see new players doing and would love to tell them "Don't do that you turd"

Man i had a great night last night... was playing as support and it was like mowing down grass with a lawnmower....

Also the anti tank stuff was fun too!

Easy to have a bad night , one of those ones where you spawn in the middle of an arty strike , you spawn infront of a jeep , or an attacking enemy rather than behind them . you and the enemy both hit the deck at the same time , but he shoots you first , you empty a clip into him and he hits you with what seems like one shot , but you die first . It happens , if it gets to you too much , stop the game and go watch some tv .

Yea played about 3 games on GFF server last night. First one was a mare! But the rest went ok. I usually find it's harder to jon mid game. Starting a new round helps me to get a feel for the tactics of my team and the enemy.

Na, sometimes it can just get to you when you spawn and die, spawn and die. You just get fed up and loose the rag of things. Best thing to do is disconnect and join a n00b server and just blast a few of them away. Or just take a break and listen to some music or watch some tv and relax.

Or let go off all your anger and have a nice five knuckle shuffle.

What boils my blood and puts me over the top is the fact that i'm a stubborn SOB, usually what happens is i killed defending a flag, i spawn get killed straight away because an MG or APc covering the spawn, so i go f*** this i'll get this guy and proceed to spawn at the same flag, get killed again, get more stubborn, spawn again killed again until eventually i get the guy or the flags taken. Loosing usually causes me to punch the wardrobe, kicking the PC is bad.

I don't accept the answer of "No I'm Berns" as ive played alot of games of b2 online with berns and he has had bad days. :cool:

EDIT: Oh and i had a great game last night, flying around in the USMC bomber plane thingy, had a great co-pilot too who went SL and spotted a load of targets for me. I love it when your team loses a flag and you drop your payload of bombs on the flag getting like 8 kills at once, makes you feel all good in side.

Was in an AA position scanning for targets and I'd just die.
THEN I'd hear/see the plane/bombs/bullets that killed me. :mad:

Then to top it of, I'd be repairing damaged vehicles but people would either keep driving off in them, or worse, driving over me.

I only did it as he is top of the leaderboard, even i have killed Berns, like twice but still ya know what i mean

Last week I was suffering from the bug where you get shot at but never hear the gun firing. Very annoying!

Yea played in your squad last night, you were getting some nice AT mine kills.

Ive knifed him a few times, but in fairness i think hes knifed me about 5 times more

Man same thing was happening to me last night, I'd see one bullet come from the other guys gun and i was dead, i would have full health and appear to be killed by a single bullet. Irlrobins what's your in game user name??

Bah, since the last patch I can't play BF2 longer than 5 minutes either one of two things happens

1 - "there is a problem with your connection" and I get kicked from the server

2 - the game locks up into some kind of infinity loop and I have to manual restart my PC

I can play BF2:SF with little or no problem, but I just don't like it very much, roll on the hotfix quick!!

Generally what i do is look at the leaderboard on this forum and that tells you if someone is online and where they are playing by means of a green light, put the mouse on the green light and click and you'll get the server details.

Theres a load of ips for servers in a sticky, but i usually pick random servers and play on them

If want to track each other just use X-fire. It'll show when a user is online click on them and it'll open up BF2 and automatically connect to the server.

speaking of which Is it me or does anyone else think that the worst enemy\victim is bollox. My top victim is supposedly 8 kills in 1 round, but i know for a fact i've got some guys 10 or more times in a round(myself and another guy made it our responsibility to keep targeting each other one night. We kept respawning at 2 out of the way flags on dragon valley and essentially were the only 2 at these flags, i killed the guy at least 15-20 times, and he was around the same on me, but 8 is my top kill on my stats).

I protest to the "No im berns" option. He's high on the board, yes, but his score per minute(1.7) isnt all that good. Hell, mine is better (1.9).
