The new 30D has been announced.
One of the features is an APS-C size sensor - I take it that is smaller than the one in the 5D but is it larger than the 350D range?

Its one of the features but its not one of the " new" Features , APS-C means its smaller than a 35mm frame , it the case of Canon's it means a multiplier of 1.6.
The sensor is the same as the 350D and the 20D , its meant as an upgrade to the 20D but really the only new options are a bigger screen 2.5 inch as opposed to a 1.8 inch and some new menus. Everything else added is fairly minor.
