Nope not possible I'm afraid it has PCI slots only and the only graphics cards with a PCI interface still floating around are woefully under powered and wouldn’t run BF2.

The next Dell up the 3100 only has two PCI slots and one 1xPCI-E slot which isn’t enough for a PCI-E graphics card it needs to be at least 8x or 16x.

I haven’t really bought anything from Dell in a while through this method so I don’t know if you can still do it but you can get a system that meets your needs at a better price point by buying one of the business desktops this Dimension 5150 (well that’s the best I could find at such a price) the cheapest one going for €449 has a 16x PCI-E slot* that will allow you to upgrade that graphics in it.

*According to the tech specs and the fact that you have an option for a PCI-E graphics card in the ordering process.

As for a graphics well after the computer is bought the best you can afford is really all I can suggest but if you had to pick something a GeForce 6500 for €75 might be okay as long as you use low details graphics and stick to 640x480 or 800x600 if you want something with a bit more kick the X1300 runs BF2 with medium detail settings at 800x600 at a cost of €94.

If you plan on playing games you'd need a 5000 or 9000 series Dell. the 1000 and 3000 series are aimed at people who just want to internet, email and create documents.

Was landed in the ame perdicament.... If the budget is absolute get a GeForce5200 PCI 256Mb from komplett.ie ->€99

Put a gig of ram in the machine and it can play battlefield2 fine. (on lowest settings)

maybe concider selfbuild? or wait till you can get a bigger budget and then go all out either with dell, or with komplett.
