I got a piece from Kingdom Come directly from Alex Ross' website http://www.alexrossart.com

They were very helpful and efficient.

I was thinking a little cheaper than 9k or so but it is good to know that he sells directly himself.
WHat did you get from Kingdom Come? Great book to get a page from. I bought a few from ebay but I was thinking of buying some framing them and then selling them on. Not sure if anybody would be interested

Oh, I couldn't afford one of his fully painted pages. There isn't even a price for the Kingdom Come stuff (But I saw a page a few years ago with Wonder Woman in a corner and it went for 15K.... Ouch.)
I got the last of the sketches from the back of the collected book. This one....

It's my baby. I also got a Bruce Timm off eBay but, y'know, that's kind of risky. I got lucky, I don't think I'll do that again.

Framing them and sending them on might be a good idea as it's so expensive to ship framed stuff from the US. You might be on to something there man. Good luck with it, I may be a customer

Hey IrishGrpver what did you pay for the sketch if you don't mind saying?

I have a Dredd sketch by Ezquerra which was passed on to me by my older brother from a signing.

I'd love a Jack Kirby Silver Surfer someday, frame it up and throw away my TV in favour of it.

I just got A Swamp Thing page. Cruical part of the Alan Moore story and has Swampy beating Batman up!

Ah, well, paid about $1000. Ouch I know but worth it though as it was published in Kingdom Come collected book. Also in his Mythology book.

Wow, that Dredd's probably worth a few quid alright. Pretty cool. Yeah, a Jack Kirby'd be cool alright. People kind of go: How much?!?!?!?! For a COMIC pic?!?!?!?!?! hen when they see it and, no doubt, your pic too, they soon shut up. You got it framed?

Wow, cool. Never read Swamp Thing but I can only imagine that seing as you got 2 major characters and it being an Alan Moore story it'd be a great find. Congrats man Hope you have it on display

No I have it in a plastic sleeve in a folder as the house I'm living is not the sort of place you want something precious on the walls! Notsure about monetary worth for the Dredd, they aren't very collectible outside of the UK but it's worth alot to me as Dredd is the reason I got into comics and just look at me now! LOOK AT ME! (floors/shelves/bed covered in comics).

It's a case of people who aren't into comics will never be into comics probably - sometimes you can convert them though - Kingdom Come is a great start for some people who haven't read comics since Roy of the Rovers!

I really think there might be a market for these in Ireland. I have got some cheap pages that I just like the look of. They can be cheaper than prints and obviously they are pretty unique.

If I was selling them would people prefer the original comic on display with the page itself or just the comic seperate?
