Its a tad late i know, but check out what my gf got me for christmas!

Its absolutly great, even tho im not that clued in on its capabilities... but im getting lovely tones from it, and its completely changed my playing style, stuff just sounds and feels alot better than the strat!

I had my eye on one for a while, but i never mentioned it to anyone - what are the odds she picked it up eh?

    Whatcha think? (bit commercial?)

Nice. Very dark colour, that's nice alright. How are you getting on with the build project?

Yer, the colour on the site she got it from looked like a really bland red strat (if you know what i mean?)
    check it out

She took a big risk picking that colour, and im glad she did, i think its absolutly great!

As far as the build project goes, im still broke ;p Ive been looking around for more timber so i can redo the neck, i wanna do something better with it than the one i had before... i wasnt happy with it at all, even tho it would work. I want something more close to my epiphone rather than the strat i used to make it.

I've paused the body work completely, because i want to do too many things to it, and its going waaaayyy too far from the design i had before. So in reality id be changing it as i go, which i dont want to do - i just want to settle on one design and work with it till its done. My goal is to have the design done by the end of this college term, then build it in the free time from work during the summer. No point in setting goals unless your sure you can meet them imo!!

    Hoot mon! Groovy, baby!

And hang on to that gf, she seems one in a million.

One of these days, after I finish buying all the death-crushing, skull-mastering, evile satanic guitars and basses that I need, I'm going to pick me up a full-body similar to THIS. I love the feel of the necks and the huge sound out of them.
