    Lunar Disko presents...

    Bunker/Creme Labelnight @ Crawdaddy Friday 24/2/2006

    Adm:15 euro

    Chicago Edition!

The Chicago Shags (Live) // Bunker-The Hague //
    (Legowelt + Orgue Electronique)
Orgue Electronique (Live) // Creme- NL //
    DJ TLR // Creme-NL //
    Andy Doyle // LunarDisko //

This Friday we welcome back DJ TLR after his killer set last September @ Lunar Disko. This time he brings with him Orgue Electronique and his Bunker freakz ' The Chicago Shags ' .

The Chicago Shags are Legowelt + Orgue Electronique.Their first release under this alias was on the Bunker records ' Robot Dystopia' series and features raw rocking Chicago/Acid trax. Outstanding stuff, by these two well known producers from the Dutch westcoast who seem to be in their jacking period. With superb analogue sequences, bumping beats and touches of acid, ' The Shags ' will drive most dancefloors wild with pleasure. This is music Larry Heard would have made if he had joined the Chicago street gangs instead of the Church choir.... expect them to rock Lunar Disko this Friday!

On the Live bill also (and making his Irish debut!) is Orgue Electronique aka Brian Chinetti.Orgue Electronique is the master of the staccato minimal electro(nix) sound with unexpected melodies and haunting tensions in between beats. Orgue Electronique is not only known for the releases he did on Bunker (the most searched cult-hit "The Eye That Never Sleeps"), Stilleben (Arcadia full length album) and various compilations, but also for his collaborations with Legowelt on Bunker Records. His recent productions have shown his love for the Chicago sound, the 'Texas, Brooklyn and Heaven' EP released on Creme is a fine example of this. Two tracks from this EP appeared on the excellent Box Jams compilation released on Clone Records late last year. A new LP ' The Garden ' is due for release on Creme later in the year. Besides all this, Orgue Electronique has quite a reputation as a live act, travelling all over the world from the Hague to Detroit, from Tokyo to New York, sharing the stage with many well known electro artists.

Providing DJ support for the two live acts is DJ TLR. TLR rocked Crawdaddy last September before Bangkok Impact, spinning tracks from Alden Tyrell, Legowelt, and The Conservatives along with many other Dutch electro bombs. Expect a similar night of cutting edge electro and Chicago trax from TLR this time. Find TLR 's current favourites below.

In the lobby bar from 10:30pm - 11.30pm Lunar Disko's Andy Doyle will be providing the sounds we are seeking before the Bunker freakz in Crawdaddy. Italo and Chicago influenced tracks will ' be a spinning ' from labels such as Pigna, Radius, Clone and Creme Organization.
