right i was interested in 2 auctions today for a mobile phone
    the auction was in England

    [1st auction]
it said uk shipping only but i emailed the buyer to ask him to accept my bid
and that he will be shipping to Ireland and he said grand

and from 2 mins to go until the auction ended it was a great price i was just about to bid and guess what he didnt change it

this does my ****ing head in

he didnt even have any bids on it when i email him 1st

    [2nd auction]
    then it happened again
i went through the same procedure as i did in the first auction

    this does my head in
    why do they do this
    it really pisses me off

is there way i turn back in to a uk registered ebay user

Sounded like you agreed with the seller that he will ship to Ireland (did you agree a price?), the seller says yes and... he did not change what? Why did you not bid on the item?

i askeds the seller how much to ship to ireland he said somthing like '8 euro'
    i said grand

then when the auction was nearly over i bidded but after i confirmed it
it said the seller will only ship to uk
    and it cancelled my bid

I had a similar one. The seller may not have known that you would be automatically excluded. I confirmed a price before and had to actually temporarily change my ebay address to.

    mr rubadub
    co dublin
    ireland
    England

Ebay detect that I had a UK address and sent it on no problems. Sent him a message when paying by paypal if he didnt cop on to the obvious. I added the extra postage on at the paypal stage with seller discounts/extra charges. If that is disabled you can just send the extra postage by paypal

In a similar situation I told the vendor that I couldn't bif because I was excluded and she changed it right away for me without any problems. I think people might (a) just say they will post to the UK (sort of a default) and will say yeah no probs posting to Ireland but (b) might have the setting to block non-UK bids and not realise that they have to change that as well so it helps to let them know.
