Deep Stacked Tournament on Stars

Some interesting hands from the $100 ds tournament so far. In all I have very little in the way of reads, assume all players are standard tight badish/ok tournament players. They are all from mid way through the tournament, 150 plrs left blinds of 100 200, avg stack 15k

Hand 1 I get Ak in sb. One early limper. I have 15k and he covers me. I make it 800 to go, he calls. Flop is ten high with two diamonds, I bet 1300 he calls. Turn is a king of diamonds. I bet 2k and he min raises me. I call. River is a blank, I check and he goes all in for about 10k more. Call or fold?

Hand 2 I get AK utg. I make it 600 to go. 2 Callers and the button makes it 2k. We both have about 10k. All in, call or fold.

Hand 3 I move to a new table. Utg who has 30k moves all in. (Thats a lot of blinds). I have QQ on bb. Call or fold? He has a picture of a baby as his icon.

    I fold the first one.
Call the second one and play the flop. The third one is TT or JJ far more than anything else I definitely call.

First one I think I fold although I don't think I would have led the turn.

Second one is tough. I don't really like flat calling to see a flop, as if you do hit you're not going to get paid unless you're beaten. It's either a coinflip or he has AK AQ, possibly AA or KK (so in other words he could have anything!), but you have to gamble at some stage. I think I'd jam it in. There's a small chance he's making a button move, and he'll fold, otherwise it's probably a coinflip and you have to take these on at some stage.

The last one I'm calling here every time. You think he's doing that with AA/KK? If he is good luck to him.

Hand 1. I usually fold. I find your nearly always behind with top pair when a player min re-raises like that.

Hand 2. Usually depends on where i am in relation to the chip leaders. If im a good bit behind i would always push in a tournament. But this raise to 2k after 2 players call your 600 smacks of high pair like KK any pair lower and he's insane. Not to mind what either of the two players have called your 600 raise with lets not forget. 50%-50% of times i'd either push or fold. Cant call because even if just one of the two players behind you call the 2k aswell your in a bad spot and out of position.

Hand 3. Definately call. I reckon he has a pair of 7's-10's or AJ-AK. I find a lot of players raise too high or push with mid pairs and AJ-AQ because they dont really want callers and they cant bring themselves to limp with pairs 77s-10s.
These players with their infants as their avatar kill me!. In fact this alone would encourage me to call if i can disregard a smart player who puts up this avatar wanting you to think he's a twit.
Not seeing him play doesnt help though.

I pass to the minraise on the first one - but if I raise AK from the SB, I make it a much bigger raise. You are asking him to pay 600 to play for a 1200 pot, which is very good odds for him, and you are OOP. I would be more inclined to make it 1200 to go.
As played, I try to fold the river most often, he is repping quite a lot of strength (do you have Ad ?)

    2nd one - I push

3rd one - toughest of all - UTG push for a lot .... fold.

I would have played the first 2 hands differently, but based on how you played it up to that point I fold both hands.

    The last one I call.

The baby avatar is an interesting subject. You can't assume the guy/girl is an idiot. He/she is probably just an American. We may think it is idiotic to have a pic of your child as a poker avatar, but your average American would see nothing wrong with this. I suppose you could say your average American is pretty dumb anyway, but the baby pic is probably more of a culture thing. The fact he went all in for 30k utg says much more about his intelligence. I don't care what hand he has, it was a donk move. I would call here with QQ, and fully expect to see him with JJ, or possibly AK. You either get outrawn or double up.

Personally, I switch the avatars off when I play Pokerstars. Theres nothing worse than trying to read a hand while looking at some ugly kid.

The fact that most of you guys are advocating a call with QQ here, makes an open push UTG with AA/KK a wonderful play.

How often are your aces or kings going to be up against qq, the majority of the time youll just take the blinds. Chances are a normal raise will be reraised by queens anyway.

If you call with QQ, then do you call with JJ ? What about TT ?
