Enough of the whining

Is it just me or do 50% of the posts on this forum concern berating "bad" players? I'm sick to death of haivng people complain about their opponents making "stupid moves" and "getting lucky". C'mon people, this is a game of luck! Of course skill counts but nobody can change how the cards fall.

I believe this issue arises because there are two main camps in this game, learned players and gamblers. But what really bothers me is when these knowledgable players assume they have a divine right to beat the game just because they've read a few books on it. Well people it simply doesnt work that way. Calling your opponents ass-hats, idiots or turd burgulars just reflects badly on you, so why do it?

Look i won't go on but if you can't accept getting beaten by "poorer" oppositioin then you really should be playing a game where luck doesnt have such a huge influence. Try indoor bowls - no changing conditions, nobody to affect your game. Just you, your balls, a bus load of OAPs and a big blue carpet... the sport of kings.

Nobody's forcing you to read this forum. If you don't like the content, exercise your freedom to read a forum which has content more acceptable to you.

99% of the responses to those posts are infornative and begin great discussions about how the hand and/or hands should/could have been played.

I dont know about you but I learn a sh1t load from them and will read them. There are posts here I dont even open up. Wow.....democracy in action!

Keep posting like this and you can be the first ban of 2006 (for me anyway).
The poker forum gets alot of traffic, some from new players, alot from reasonably experienced players.
The mods try to keep the place running smoothly, but we can't please everybody. So shush and post some content plz. gg.
