    i'm going to vote southpark
It is the very est thing on TV at the moment, it just takes the piss out of literally everything, and yet always carries a grounded moral message. It's certainly intellectually stimulating.

did you just pick 3 programs at random?

South Park is actually a reasonably intelligent show imo(just shows how intelligent I am:p ). But seriously theres a lot of subtle humour in there and you can see a lot of comedic influences as well. Its a great satire of modern life and it isnt afraid to take the piss out of anyone or anything including itself. I love it.

But wtf has that got to do with Joey and the OC.

i think there's one thing lost while watching south park over here.

and that is it's up to date-ness. the shows are written/drawn/recorded only a week prior to airing.

for example a week after katrina we got the spoof of "two days before the day before tomorrow" or something to that effect. or the same thing with "best friends forever" episode with kenny being feed with a feeding tube and two parties fighting over whether he be kept alive.

but you get to keep this freshness if you have cousins in the states.

however since mtv/paramount have gotten the rights to south park the situation is not nearly as bad (shorter transmission gap between irish and US air dates).

South park all the way. Dont know how they get away with half the stuff they show. The paris hilton: Stupid spoiled whore for example!! Its still as goos as it used to be...Actually better.

the episode with tom cruise was actually pretty weak.
the bits with travolta were good though

not that i've got anything against the other shows, but seems an odd selection for a poll

    weak eh
    bloody tom over reacting again

in that episode did they through a class of water at him

Err, the Tom Cruise/Scientology episode was one of the best pieces of comedy in years, it's a brilliant episode. Weak? Have you got any taste at all??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,584 ✭✭✭✭Creamy Goodness

yes, i have taste and i've given a name to it.

    it's called DIFFERENT.

i thought it was weak, doesn't mean it was so.

headshot if you want to judge for yourself, get it from your cousins in the states.

i can see how tom cruise wanted this banned though, and no they don't throw a glass of water over him.

South Park is really funny and the best! The OC I dont get and Joey I dont know what that is.

I've seen 1/2 an ep of OC and have never watched a single second of Joey. Therefore I can definetly say South Park is the best of those 3.
