xbox LIVE crossover.

    Im going to buy an Xbox360 tommorrow and was wandering can you convert aan Xbox LIVE account to a xbox360 live account. I forgot to terminate my xbox account and now im stuck with a 12 month timelimit for something I dont really play that often . Id like to play 360 Live though.

    Has anybody done this - turn an xbox LIVE account to a 360 LIVE account?

    your xbox live account is valid for your 360 so dont worry about that

    good news: you can continue to use your account on your old v1 xbox (if you still have it)

    you can also change your gamertag for a small fee

    So, does this mean someone who just got a 360 could buy a normal Xbox 12 month subs instead of forking out the 60€ for a 360 version?

    Isn't the Xbox Live year sub also €60? I seem to remember paying that much when I bought the initial account.

    there's a few bargains to be found out there - games with 12 month sub and so on. won't last forever though - once retail works through the stock that's out there it'll be back to full price

    picked up a 12 month live card ( no credit card required ) from play, bought it in stearling and it cost me €51.50 .

    another 12 months through the dashboard would have cost €59.99:confused:
