me and gholi were both in this tonight, he went out just short of the final table. (38 runners in all, 6 paid)

some very loose play was noted including one guy calling a full starting stack all in vs gholis TT with K5 soooted.

That guy called "skinny" got 3 handed and bluffed it all away with 10 5 off and i got heads up with another guy.

We had about 35k each going in, and i dont think he won a hand heads up, every time i bet he folded, every time he bet, i raised he folded lol.

Finally got his last 10k when he limped with 77 and let me hit a straight !!!

So just to let Gholi know i won it , a nice 3k to go with my win in this same event on Tuesday and 3rd on Sunday.

Its a nice tourney with a good structure and its very winnable, more of u guys should play it.

(looking forward to seeing the updated TLB on ppp)

Nice one Rob. I normally have a look and see who is in that but I was concentrating on losing a heads up battle in the bluesquare only $3.5k gtd which is also a nice little tourney. $100+$9 and 20 min blinds. Only 27 runners.

    nice one Rob,
as you said it is very winnable.
i got creamed just before the final table .raised UTG with JJ and got called by the SB (AK00 was his id) .flop was KQx(lovely) he checked and i bet the pot which was 1200 and he put me all n for my remaining 3200.had to fold.
few hands later i was down to 2400 and on the BB with AT.same guy raised and i pushed and he called with QQ and i got no help and was out.
    i dont usually play this.
i think ive played it about 5 times all and all and that was the first time i didnt finish in the money.
i was shocked by the standard of play.i mean this was a $200 buy in(for the love god people).the way you were getting paid off on the start and the way i got paid off was unreal i thought considering the stakes.
your AA againt the donekys AT who lost his stack chasing a T high flush draw on a paird board.
your man comin over the top of my raise when i had KK with his A9s when the blinds were something like 30/60 and he had 2400.
and to top it all of he had to double me up again with his monster K5s against my TT.
shocking but glad to see it.
i will play this more often from now on .we should get heads up on this soon Rob.

That AK00 guy was the guy i beat heads up, he had built up a stack with his premium hands, and hardly played a hand on the final table, heads up he played like hed never played HU before, and it was never in doubt.

Mark him down as a rock.

Mike, nice result yourself, and i must check out this other tourney u mention also, what time is it on at?

I think it was 8.30pm. They are easy to spot on Bluesq as it is highlighted in green.

I was posting to ask when this $200 game is on and if there are any sats to it and I had me an idea. What would people think of a sticky with recommended online tourneys to play? Where folks can post tourneys they reckon are good value, winnable and details of any sats (I say this because at the moment I and others I would guess are not bankrolled to be buying in for $200 tourneys on a regular basis)

Good idea, but can we please lose the boards awards 2005 sticky at the same time? Too many stickies......

The only problem i can see with that musician is that any big tournement that someone wins seems to have a very good structure!
