Just noticed I can watch the BBC's sports coverage "restricted to UK residents" Presume its an IP thing. Handy though.

Presume I can watch the rest of their online content...

There might be something in that.

I tried to set up an eircom.net webmail account tonight and was brought to a site telling me that it is restricted to people with Irish IP addresses. Strange that considering I'm sitting beside the Hapenny Bridge in Dublin.

Eircom does that if you didn't log on via their dialup or Broadband. Fortunately I was able to reconect my modem. At one stage even if you logged on with Indigo even after it absordbed into Eircom.

We're sorry. The content you requested is available for UK users only
While Eircom says my IP isn't Irish. BBC says it isn't British.
