:eek: i just got a sky box from the uk and it has the uk epg. I was wondering would an english ftv card work to pick up sky 3, ch 4 and ch 5. I taught it would until i saw only sky 3 was available on the epg.

A UK FTV card will get you Ch4, Ch5 and Sky3 in the sky digibox. Ch4 and Ch5 will not appear on epg until you insert the FTV card. You should get a uk ftv card for circa Eur50 at ebay.ie or freesatcards.com. I have this set up. its excellent, especially now with the new epg software, where you can pick your own favourites for your favourite epg. To check if you have new software press tv guide, if you see a green box with planner beside it you have new software, if not just leave box in standby, connected to sat dish, it will update over next few days.
