    My story is a bit different to the run of the mill teenage or even thirties story hopefully. I met this girl abroad, she was Irish as well, I worked with her, we had a spur of the moment affair(for the want of a better word). I really liked her. I made some silly mistakes, and she did too. I stayed there, hoping I suppose to get back together. It didn't happen. I left the country a year or so later, (I've heard she has as well), the thing is I think about her for some reason nearly every day, even though I haven't seen her in over a year and haven't spoken to her in even longer (Because we worked together it was an unwritten mutual rule that we not contact each other, so basically I dont have her number and vice versa). I know I should get out there, but that is easier said than done!

    Ignoring the lack of adequate information here, I have an aversion to "unwritten mutuals rule"s. I'd say make contact. At the very least you'll get some closure from it.

    There is nothing worse than the feeling of 'what if'. Make contact and if you dont get the response you want, at least you have closure. If you do, then its all good.
