I had a chat with one of my classmates about 30 minutes ago about me, and how I was trying to get into class. Now, this normally wouldn't be anything special, only... I was in my room at the time as I was feeling ill! The funny thing is that the entire class witnessed it and I have no idea what to make of it. Everyone is positively certain it was me and all. I'll post up the log in my next post for you all to see, and tell me what you think.

Friend: hi what happened to u todaY
Me: I felt ill, heh. I think I may be getting the flu
    Friend: OH
Me: Yeah. I need to see how I am tomorrow... I'd rather not have been in if it was the flu...
    Friend: true
Me: My head feels a bit like crap, and my neck is being a ppain
Friend: oh u feel bad then
Me: Somewhat. A little blah. I couldn't respond to mark either... no credit.
Friend: oh he pghoned u to
    Me: yes
Friend: how come u didnt pick up we saw u out side the classroom door
    Me: I did... what?
Me: I did pick up, both times... there was static on my line, phone was a piece of ****. And what do you mean "outside the classroom door"?
Friend: we saw u out side trying to open door
Me: That's wierd. I haven't left my room apart to go to the toilet.
Friend: oh everyone swore it was u
Me: How did you know it was me? What time was this?
    Friend: about 9 20
Me: Hmm... What was I wearing
Friend: couldn really tell to be honest
Me: Ah. Where did "I" go after that?
    Friend: thats was it
    Me: Huh?
Friend: thats all we saw of u
    Me: Wierd...
    Friend: yer
Me: I'm semi-finding it hard to believe... lol
    Friend: lol
Me: What made you think it was me?
Friend: by the way if u aint there by 9 15 from now on he will lock the door dunno just looked liked it
    Me: Ah... hmm...
    Friend: hmmmmmm
Me: I thought the class was at 10am... :s
Me: Did you see "my" face at all or my hair? lol
    Friend: yer i did
    Me: Was definately me?
    Friend: think everyone didlol
    Me: O_o Very wierd...
    Friend: yer
Me: I'm not going to say what I think it is just yet, till I am absolutely certain. That would have to be me, without a doubt as well... otherwise, my explanation would be blown out of the water...
    Friend: lol
Me: Either way though, either it was someone that looked like me, or that was me, and I have an explanation. Tell me, did I try to open all the doors?
    Friend: yer
    Me: Hm...
    Friend: hmmm
Me: Yeah. If it were me, I'm going to possibly get laughed at with my explanation, so only a couple of people will know; you, Jim and Mark will know. We can have a laugh about it after I say though, aboout how crazy it was
    Friend: lol ok
Me: :) Still find it wierd... gonna pester Mark when he's on
Friend: about what this mystry lol
    Me: Yeah
Me: When something like that happens, it needs to be solved
    Friend: lol
Me: What did I do when none of the doors opened?
Friend: nope. oh u keeped trying then walkied off
Me: Anyone say anything to me?
    Friend: nope
    Me: Ah
Friend: im off now cya mate

The jury is still out on what it is, and I don't think it'll ever be solved, so lets talk about them in general?

    Bollocks.
Why would people "swear it was you", when it wouldn't have been unusual that is was you. I'm why would they have to swear it was you? Why would they not have just looked at you and thought nothing of it.

And more importantly, why am I bothering to reply to this crap?

Interesting, how come you didn't mention this when I saw you yesterday ?

    :v:

I don't know much about this, but I thought that you'd be aware of being somewhere more than other people would be aware of you being there. Unless maybe you were asleep or something at the time it happened ?

    lol, I don't think I told Mark this when I saw him on MSN, and I never saw you, so I couldn't tell you ^_^;;

I think I was asleep at the time, if not, getting ready to go to class. I decided not to go in the end as I felt pretty ill at the time. If it was an OBE, I'd have thought that I'd actually recall doing it, but I don't. Plus, it was cold outside, so I don't think I was physically there. Still, it's pretty wierd. I distinctly remember though that I "hovered" over a stairs in one of my previous houses when I was a child, though god knows what that was. I actually went to the library with my mum the day after and got out a book on the paranormal, a Usborne (sp?) one that talked about OBEs, so I got it. I recall someone being concerned about my choice of book, and expressed this to my mum. That is my earliest memory of my interest in the paranormal (I was around 9-11 at that point)

I also seen a "monster" under my bed when I was about 8 (maybe younger) as well, and at that point, I didn't have much of an imagination, plus it made noise too, and any dreams I have that I recall have always been silent, so I dunno. I do recall it looking like Oscar the Grouch from Sesame Street though, and I did try to say hello to it as well, if I recall.

I had one other experience as well that I recall, but I'm unsure of that one atm, so I won't recount it here till I have something more concrete to say about it...

I've had very wierd experiences as a child... as you can tell from the above. Either way though, they're pretty interesting experiences, even if they were when I was very young... lol. Hard to imagine they were 12-15+ years ago in some ways...

Childhood memories are not very reliable. As children, it is easy for us to confuse vivid dreams or nightmares as real memories later in life. I would suggest that seeing the monster under your bed falls into this category. Similarly with floating above the stairs, although such phenomenon as that one have at least been observed by adult witnesses in poltergeist cases.

With regard to your bilocational doppelganger, check out the two wiki entries for 'doppelganger' and 'bilocation' for a start on that particular phenomenon.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bilocation

You could also google the two terms for more info of course.

Hmm... that's quite interesting, and fair enough about the memory thing.

Cheers for the info... I'll definately look into it further. :)

Surprised no one else has picked up on this.
