No Satellite Signal message

I am getting 'no signal' message on some channels - if i press record on my sky+ and then select the channel it works fine - any ideas ?

Dish Alignment? Faulty cable? LNB Skew? unplug Sky+ box and swap F-Connector LNB cables. See if channels are all OK to view but some won't record. If so it is LNB/ Cable.
