I have java 1.5 installed correctly on my pc and also I set up the variables (win xp) for JAVA_HOME etc... to point to 1.5. Through a dos promt though its still showing up 1.3.1 when I do a java -version.

    Any ideas why?

Check your PATH setting. Should try the programming forum for these sort of questions.

Path settings are good no problems there, first thing i checked! Will stick it in the programming forum instead.
